With a “legal coaching,” arrangement, you get the benefit of Attorney Haskell’s time in pre-paid one-hour blocks. He’ll provide answers any questions you might have, and give you suggestions on strategy.
One obvious benefit of choosing an Attorney Coach over the myriad (and
similarly priced) generic “coaches,” is that Michael Haskell
is an experienced attorney who is licensed to practice law in Michigan
and California, and actually does practice
family law in high-conflict custody disputes every day.
So, whether or not you choose to hire Attorney Haskell as your coach, please do be careful. There are many people out there offering their services, committing the unauthorized practice of law, based only on the experience of having been through the process personally. Moreover, often times, these “coaches” were not successful, and their personal experience may improperly influence their advice.
So, how much does it cost? There’s no mystery there – it costs
Attorney Haskell’s hourly rate. His time with you is no easier than
his time spent on other cases. In fact, the opposite – he puts a
lot of effort into giving you as much information as he can in a limited
period of time, keeping in mind your limited relationship. The beauty
of it is that you’ll never be surprised by your bill.
Most of the time, an hour is sufficient to discuss what you need to discuss. However, it is best if your coach is able to spend one-hour reviewing the facts of your case along with any written questions you have, prior to the first appointment. This helps your Attorney Coach to provide you with the most value for your hard-earned money. Haskell Law, PC provides legal services to clients throughout West Michigan and is available to assist you with your family law matter!
